Exciting Times in the Cumbria Hotel Industry

It is an exciting time for the hotel sector in Cumbria and the Lake District.

From the South and Central Lakes across to Penrith, the West and North developments are taking place not just structurally but also in the development of services and products offered.

Hotels in Cumbria are winning awards and receiving national and international acclaim which is extremely beneficial for the whole tourism industry in this region.

From hotel design awards being won by the new Brimstone Hotel at Langdale to those won for the food and service within the Westmorland Limited group.

The Westmorland Limited group is particularly unique and exciting most notably the site where the Westmorland Hotel and Tebay Services is situated. Both of these sections of Westmorland Limited have won awards for their food and service which has been mostly down to the extremely high quality of the meat they sell. This meat is in fact also reared by them as the Dunning family who own and run the whole operation are a farming family. Such an amazing story, and well worth reading in depth about the family and the history of Westmorland Limited here http://www.westmorland.com/.

The Westmorland Hotel near Penrith showcases all the food they produce in the restaurant there so it is well worth visiting and they have special foodie nights throughout the year too.
